This year RFHC will expand its operations from one site to three, with the additions of the Ravenswood Mobile Health Clinic and, in September 2006, the transition of Belle Haven Clinic to RFHC. The expansion will significantly increase access to medical care, and will call for operational changes at all levels.

To ensure long-term sustainability, RFHC sought core support to strengthen our systems, to increase the number of uninsured who enroll into health insurance programs and to improve collections and increase patient revenues.

Our thanks to:

• Community Foundation Silicon Valley awarded a grant of $20,000
• Flora Family Foundation granted $40,000 a year for two years.
• Peninsula Community renewed a grant for core support in April 2006 for $250,000

Another foundation awarded a two-year grant totaling $80,000 to help underwrite the first two years of operation of the Belle Haven Clinic.

Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health awarded a grant of $75,000 over two years to develop and implement a childhood abuse and injury prevention program and parent support groups.
