History
Ravenswood Family Health Center was founded by a coalition of public and community partners and opened in December 2001. It is the only federally funded nonprofit community health center in San Mateo County. RFHC offers full scope primary medical care and prevention services to underserved and uninsured ethnic minorities living in southeast San Mateo County.
In six years, RFHC has registered over 20,700 patients, averaging 20 new enrollments a day. In the past 12 months, RFHC provided medical care to 9,290 patients. This represents almost one of every four persons in the East of Bayshore area.
