Looking for a MISSION – Not just another job?

Ravenswood Family Health Center is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) community health center that provides primary medical, dental and behavioral health care and prevention services for all ages. Our service area in southeast San Mateo County includes the communities of East Palo Alto, the Belle Haven community in Menlo Park, and the North Fair Oaks section of Redwood City.

We have a staff of 160 full and part-time employees and contractors. We currently employ 29 full or part-time medical providers including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and nurses, 6 full and part-time dentists, dental residents and hygientists, 5 behavioral health providers and 5 health navigators.  85% are bilingual in one of the languages of our patient population.

In 2011 we served 10,394 patients in 77,806 visits, including medical, dental, behavioral health, case management and health education.

Ravenswood Family Health Center is midway between San Francisco and San Jose and located close to the Dumbarton Bridge which crosses over San Francisco Bay to affordable housing in East Bay communities.

Buying and renting in the Bay Area has the extremes of very costly to your average modest house, condo or apartment.  The generally mild weather, ease of access to cultural centers and large tracts of public land set aside for hiking and biking make it an all-around desirable place to live.  For families, the school systems are generally very good, with some exceptional districts in Palo Alto and Menlo Park.
