Medical Staff

Family Practice Physician--Implements RFHC's mission, philosophy and goals across all activities. Bilingual Registered Nurse--Under general supervision the primary function of the Bilingual Spanish/English Family Practice RN is to utilize the nursing process to provide direct and indirect support to the clinician in the delivery of patient care or to provide direct patient care. S/he accurately administers medications and immunizations as well as providing patient education and overseeing the provision of education by MAs on the clinical team. S/he performs independent triage and communicates with the clinician regarding actions taken. RNs are expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills, leadership and appropriate role modeling. Bilingual Patient Services Assistant--Under the direct supervision of the Front Office Manager, the Patient Services Assistant provides clerical support and coverage for all support services functions including medical records, medical reception, new patient screening, patient follow-up and referral, appointment scheduling, and translation. Dental Staff

Bilingual Dental Assistant--Ravenswood Family Dentistry seeks and experienced bilingual Spanish/English Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant to assist dental providers with all treatments; responsible for sterilization, preparation, inventory and infection control of dental operatories and is able to perform independent dental procedures as delegated and directed by dental providers in accordance with state regulation, law and policies. Management Staff

Bilingual RN Manager--Under general supervision operating in a multi-disciplinary team environment, the primary function of the Nurse Manager is to utilize the nursing process to provide direct and indirect support to the nurses in the delivery of patient care. RN Manager supervises licensed and non-licensed clinical staff and may perform various aspects of patient care. RN Manger is responsible for participating in the hiring process, for training and supervision of all nurses in all clinical departments. S/he fills in when other nurses are absent and is a role model for collaborative team care, customer service, and professionalism. S/he performs triage, care coordination, documents and communicates with the clinicians regarding actions taken. RN manager is expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills, leadership and clinical judgment within the boundaries of the Nurse Practice Act. RN Clinical Educator--The RN Clinical Educator is responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of educational and clinical initiatives and the operational excellence of the clinical support staff including Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, Health Coaches, Community Health Workers and Health Navigators to ensure that clinical support staff have the appropriate training, are proficient in their skills, are competent in their performance and judgment and can demonstrate their ability to deliver quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, licensing, certification and professional standards. Pediatric and Women's Health Department Manager--The Pediatrics and Women’s Health Department Manager is an important member of the clinic operations team. This position supervises and coordinates all back office activities for two key clinical departments. All activities are carried out in communication with and under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. The incumbent is responsible for operations and patient services to ensure that the patient flow operates efficiently, effectively, and the support staff delivers high quality health care. Direct reports include: the Floor Supervisors for Women’s Health and Pediatrics, medical assistants and other back office support staff. Responsible for Department support staff scheduling, meeting productivity goals, operational management and quality improvement. Behavioral Health Staff

Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LCSW--Under the general direction of the Integrated Behavioral Health Services Clinical Director, the Bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is an active and essential member of our patient centered care team in providing guidance, assessment, and treatment for our patients. This clinician works alongside the medical providers and other staff members to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients by providing evidence-based treatment practices, facilitating the recognition of co-occurring alcohol and other drugs abuse issues, and providing a wide array of psychological services to help patients move along the continuum of change. Certified Enrollment Counselor--The Certified Enrollment Counselor works under the direct supervision of the Enrollment and Eligibility Manager to screen and provide enrollment assistance to uninsured adults and children in San Mateo County. This position participates with various community enrollment sites and attends community health events. S/He is responsible for eligibility screening, conducting enrollments, responding to inquiries and registering or re-registering new and established Ravenswood Family Health Center (RFHC) patients. Human Resources Assistant—Under direct supervision, the Human Resources Assistant will provide overall HR and administrative support; be the first point of contact to the HR Department, coordinate volunteer recruitment, assist in coordinating staff events and serve on internal committees.
