Jaime Chavarria, M.D.

Dr. Chavarria has been in family practice for over seventeen years. He was Chief Resident in Family Practice at USC/California Medical Center and received his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego, Medical School. From 1994 to 2002, he worked with the San Jose Medical Center and prior to that he worked in a four family-physician medical group in Los Angeles that served a multi-cultural population. He served as a faculty member and preceptor for the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Family Practice Program at California Medical Center and also was part-time faculty at the Whittier Family Practice Program.

General Pediatrics, Packard Children's Hospital since July 2000, Dr Chamberlain works at RFHC one day a week. Dr. Chamberlain completed her medical training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1996, and her pediatric residency at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in 1999. As a Maternity and Child Health grant recipient, she completed the Masters in Public Health program at University of California, Berkeley. Received a grant from David and Lucile Packard Foundation to develop and implement and evaluate a pediatric advocacy training program and from the William Randolph Hearst Foundation to expand and disseminate the program.

Janice Lowe, M.D.

Dr. Lowe received her medical degree at Harvard University and completed her residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston. From 1983 to 2004 she was Staff Pediatrician at Massachusetts General Hospital Chelsea HealthCare Center. She was the Director of Medical Student Education and Director of Continuity Clinics, Pediatric Service, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 1993 to 1998. She was Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School 1997-2004 and is currently Clinical Professor of Pediatrics, Stanford University Medical School. In clinical practice, teaching and curriculum development, she has focused on developing culturally competent clinical services in underserved communities.

Shanti Perkins, M.D.

Dr. Perkins received a B.A. degree in psychology from Harvard University and a medical degree at University of California, San Francisco. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF in 2004 and joined the staff of Ravenswood Family Health Center. Her clinical training includes primary care, hospital training, and outpatient specialized clinics. Her teaching experience includes Preceptor in Family and Community Medicine at UCSF.

Veronica Rayburn, D.O

After graduating as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University in 2003, she completed a Residency in Family Medicine at USC/California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2006 and served as a Family Physician at the Eisner Pediatric and Family Medical Center. She spent a year in Africa with a non-profit that was promoting AIDS education through soccer. Other volunteer assignments took her to India, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
