Overview of Volunteer Program

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Ravenswood Family Health Center. Volunteers come to the RFHC for many reasons, but mostly out of a desire to help others while giving back to the community. In addition to helping others, volunteer work is a wonderful way to learn about different aspects of the healthcare system and the community we serve. As a volunteer, you will be part of an organization that is dedicated to providing the best quality health care for our patients.

Become a Volunteer

RFHC has two levels of volunteers. To participate as a regular volunteer, we require that you be at least 18 years of age and commit to volunteering for approximately three hours or more per week on a regular schedule. To be considered for such an assignment as a regular volunteer, we have an application and interview process. RFHC also offers opportunities for those looking for short-term or one-time volunteer projects. If you work with a company or community group that is looking for short-term projects, please call our Volunteer Coordinator at (650) 330-7400.
