Overview of Volunteer Program
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Ravenswood Family Health Center. Volunteers play an integral role in our organization. A volunteer position with RFHC offers not only the ability to serve the local population, but also to increase your awareness and understanding of health provision to the community. As a volunteer, you will be part of an organization that is dedicated to providing the best quality health care for our patients.
Why volunteer with Ravenswood?
- With your help, we serve 10,000 people in the uninsured and underinsured communities of East Palo Alto, East Menlo Park, and North Fair Oaks
- We allow volunteer flexibility – You can decide when to volunteer and for how long
- We are a culturally competent health center – Our staff boasts extensive bilingual abilities and seeks to involve the patient at all levels of care
- We provide a simple and rewarding way to give back to the local community
- We seek your feedback about and involvement with our health care system
- We regularly recognize the contributions of volunteers, and will ensure that your experience is positive and fulfilling
